Uncle Luke: Married and a Reality TV Show...About Parenting?

Well I know the world is coming to an end.

First the nastiest man in Hip Hop (and I've seen some of his shows live, so I know) goe married. To a lawyer. 20 years his junior. From People.com:

Luke Campbell, former frontman of 2 Live Crew, heard wedding bells instead of beatboxing on Saturday as he and Kristin Thompson tied the knot in Dallas, Texas.

"I waited 47 years to find a special woman and have found that in Kristin," Campbell tells PEOPLE exclusively. "I never knew that I could feel love on another level like this until I met her, and I am now honored to call her my wife."

Now he has a reality show on VH-1 called Luke's Parental Advisory where he showcases his softer side From VH-1:

What people don't know about Luke is that he is now a loving father, successful CEO and most surprising of all, faithful fiancée. However, don't think Luke has changed completely. His life may look like the picture of typical suburbia, but his adult entertainment business ventures prove he's still going to be as nasty as he wants to be.

This reality series will follow the day-to-day adventures as Luke navigates fatherhood with two teenage children, while running his adult business Luke Entertainment Group and planning a wedding with his straight-laced lawyer fiancée Kristin. Whether it's wedding cake shopping, giving a "birds and the bees" lecture to his son or casting dancers for his adult Web site, Luke Campbell does things his own way and he doesn't give a *!#@ what anybody says about it!

Well damn.

I'm supposed to believe that the "Nastiest Man in Hip Hop" is now a straight laced married, family man, even while he still has his adult entertainment business? I mean really, can you look at naked women all day, doing all kind of nasty, naught things and then go home and say, "I love my wife?"

And if chicky is so straight-laced why did she marry a guy in the porn industry? I'm shocked. And I will be watching. What about ya'll? Anyone going to tune for what should prove to be one of Vh-!'s most interesting Celebreality shows yet?

Lukes's Parental Advisory premieres Aug 4 at 10:30pm on VH-1

I think I'm gone have to pass on Brother Luke. This somehow just wreaks of blaxploitation coon-type foolishness. Disappointed but not surprised.

You can't judge someone just because they choose to work in the adult entertainment industry. Why does porn have to be nasty when it's just video what people do in their bedrooms all across the world everyday?

Why would a woman like her want to marry a person who isn't going to change his ways? That's like me getting married to a pimp knowing that he is not going to stop having women sell their bodies to make him rich. The man needs some psychological assistance. Then you have two teenage children? What kind of role model are you to them why still being in the porn industry while playing the role of being a good fiance'?

Lol, I watched the commercial for the first time yesterday. I have to say my reaction was the same, "the world is coming to an end".

I'm a bit amused to see that you're tearing down such immorality yet you seem to be promoting it at the end of your blog. Interesting! It just goes to show that no matter how bad the train wreck we can’t help but stare. What we should be doing is boycotting such perversions, write to network executives, tell your friends, your neighbors…shout it from the roof tops…turn off the television and don’t even think about the DV-R. Would that help? Absolutely not! This kind of bullsh*t media will continue to pollute the minds of the masses.

The mob mentality in us all can’t help but to be blind followers. The IQ of a nation and world continues to decrease because of these infestations. Where are the great innovators…the great thinkers…why don’t we hear about them? Why don’t they have their own reality shows? Could it be that we’ve become a nation indulging in spoon fed prefabrication and over-excessiveness that we’re nothing more than reality show junkies, completely inebriated and can no longer perform normal functions such as basic thinking? Yes we have! With that said I have to return to watching the best show on tv…a shot at crap with bret flav or something of the sort! Turn it off and go recycle a can!

I can't even imagine him doing a reality show on parenting. I think I'm good on this.

hmmm, i'm kinda alarmed by this show. my first reaction to the previews was: "they" are trying to get black women on the poles (instead of in school). not cool.

i won't be watching.

just cuz she's a lawyer dont mean she aint a freak, she may not be the girls he works with, but shes probably not all that "straight-laced"

no matter how man women he's been with apparently at 47 yrs he decided he had enough and it was time to settle down and aint nothin wrong with that

what works in some relationships wont work in others and if she is okay with his business then what is the problem?
